Enroll me

Matlab is an interactive environment for technical computation originally developed for numerical analysis. Currently, Matlab is equipped with one of the most highly developed supports for graphical visualization and programming. The objective of this workshop is to give a foundational knowledge about Matlab and practical skills in working with the system. It will also explore some of its tool boxes such as Control Toolbox and SimuLink. Throughout the workshop, many examples of practical applications will be provided. The applicants need to have basic knowledge of mathematics, especially vectors and matrices, and programming skills as well.

Workshop contents

  • The Matlab syntax and interactive calculations
  • Programming Matlab using m-file scripts and functions
  • Some rudimentary linear algebra and calculus
  • One-, two-, and three dimensional graphic visualizations
  • Examples of Matlab usage in engineering applications
